## What makes DOU applications different

DOU is the largest community of Ukrainian IT people, and in its jobs section companies post roles from junior to head of. An application on DOU usually includes a CV and a short cover letter that a recruiter or team lead reads.

You meet more product companies here, and they read the letter closely. A generic "I want to join your team" will not help: you need one or two concrete things from your experience that matter for this exact job.

## What AutoApply does on DOU

- **Reads new jobs** every 20 minutes and compares them with your filters: stack, level, salary, city, remote or office.
- **Prepares the letter**: the AI adapts your template to the job text, addresses the recruiter by name when it is known, and never invents facts.
- **Applies with your CV** on your behalf through the DOU session passed by the extension. No password needed.
- **Keeps the history**: the dashboard shows each application, its letter and its status.

## Which CV to attach

A CV for DOU should be in English or Ukrainian, 1–2 pages long, with concrete results for each job. If you have several directions (say, backend and data), upload two CVs and attach each to its own filters.

Check your CV with the [free tool](https://autoapply.edinstvenij.cc/en/tools/cv-check): it shows which skills from job posts it is missing.

## How to start

- Create an account and upload your CV (or build one in the builder).
- Set your filters; the AI can fill them in from your CV.
- Connect DOU through the Chrome extension and press "Start".

## FAQ

### How many applications a day does the bot send?

As many as your limits allow, but never more than the service-wide cap per hour and per day. There are pauses between applications.

### Can I apply to remote jobs only?

Yes, choose the "remote" format in the filters. You can also exclude cities or companies.

### What if I already applied to a job by hand?

The bot never applies to the same job twice. Add a company you already wrote to to the stop list.
